Medicinal Cannabis
CLEAR is firmly committed to an end to the prohibition of cannabis in general but the spearhead of our campaign is medicinal use. Its prohibition is an obscene injustice and a shame on every politician and bureaucrat that supports it. CLEAR is developing influence in important therapeutic areas such as MS, Crohn’s, cancer, pain, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and mental health. The more that scientists understand the endocannabinoid system, the more the unique power of cannabinoids as medicine is revealed. Before pharmaceutical companies can patent and control all aspects of the plant we aim to explain how easy it is to grow, how safe to use and inexpensive and natural are its benefits.
UKCIA Medical Testimony Database
For may years the website UKCIA has been collecting testimonies from people who use cannabis for medical reasons, you can see it here.
If you would like to add your story, please use the UKCIA feedback form here.We are aware that using cannabis – even for pain relief or other medical reasons is illegal and for this reason we do not collect any personal details from people telling their story. The feedback form does ask for an e-mail address but you are free not to give it.
Please note these stories are taken in good faith and what might work for one person might not for another. Neither UKCIA nor CLEAR can give medical advice, neither can we help to obtain cannabis so please don’t ask.
