Pending Clarification: Go Get Your Cannabis Prescription Now!

If you can get your doctor to write out a prescription for one of the four Bedrocan products then do it now!

You will have to pay for the medicine yourself but with a UK doctor’s prescription, go to Holland and bring back three month’s supply.  Any prosecution is bound to fail.

Norman Lamb MP, UK health minister, has written that UK doctors may prescribe Bedrocan’s medicinal cannabis products: Bedrocan, Bedrobinol, Bediol and Bedica.

Prohibition is crumbling.  If you can afford it, then get your medicine now.

Which one would be best for bad sciatica – Bediol? Due to the high CBD content as I’m getting sick of tramadol & co-codamol.
Pity this didn’t happen a couple of weeks ago I was in Dam last weekend and would have made an appointment to see a Dr.

Been up since four a.m. With muscle spasms in my right shoulder so i can hardly move my head. Cant lie on my leftside in comfort as hip replaced twice and is sore. Spine a bit twisted and i fell heavy over 12mnths ago. Tramadol opiates and the like either bung me up or make me sick. To fix this they give me yet more medicine. Finally i get to the pain clinic where i am REFUSED sativex, and told by the moron behind the desk that my injuries where pretend and am i sure its not related to my epilepsy……… I am disabled written off by age 34 now 42. Had 1st hip replaced at 22 because it was so bad, then again at 35. As stated to Dr (moron) I fell really hard last october (2011) and have been in a mess ever since. The hosp my GP and a Dr at another medical site reffered me for a scan with MORON. Said moron refused the scan because in HIS no one else’s opinion i am fibbing…. It is all just budgets, they work for the government not us…. Really depressed and really really sore …..

Hi, luckily I do not suffer from MS.

But I have a BIG problem in my life, I have been smoking cannabis for the last 3 years now, non stop. It has drastically affected my family, business and financial situation. I have tried stopping but I am finding it extremely difficult. I dont what to do in life as my life and health has deterioted tremendously.

Can anyone please advise on how I can get Sativex or anything similar.

Are you smoking cannabis mixed with tobacco? Or just Pure cannabis? Also, do you know what strains of cannabis you smoke?

    • ChristopherSawtell

It’s very unlikely that you will be able to get any Sativex branded cannabis extract legally in the UK.

It’s very difficult indeed to stop any heavily ingrained habit. You have my sincere sympathy.

It would probably be best to try to reduce the dose and frequency slowly rather than a cold turkey approach. In order not to damage the health of your lungs any more, have you thought of a vaporiser? I have a butane fuelled portable one made in Ireland. I find it very satisfactory and economical. It cuts the amount of herbs you need by about half, if not more, and eliminates the damage done to your lungs by the smoke from a spliff.

If you think a medical approach might be appropriate, you might like to try the National Treatment Agency to see if they are helpful:-

      http://www.nta.nhs.uk

Their web site is a barely literate mess, but you might find the sub-page at:- http://www.nta.nhs.uk/accessing-treatment.aspx informative.

If your own doctor is half decent she would be able to refer you onward also. I use the pronoun ‘she’ deliberately. My personal experience with a number of doctors has formed my opinion that female doctors are much superior to the male ones.

How much do the Bedrocan products cost?
I could not find any info anywhere.
