I cant believe we are still talking about cannabis being a gateway to hard drugs, its 2012!!! I guess the person who believes in the gateway theory for what ever reason simply needs Holland to be pointed out to them. They have the lowest hard drug use in Europe, yet cannabis is openly available to all adults at affordable prices. You would expect to see the masses on harder stuff if cannabis was a gateway, but no. Holland was smart enough to separate cannabis from the hard drugs, and what a success. Also, we dont see medical cannabis patents in Israel, Canada, 17 States in the US and more clucking for cocaine or heroin after a joint. Its ridiculous, its bad parents needing something besides themselves to blame.

“what would you say to those people…” I would say that their conclusion is invalid because of confirmation and observational bias and something called patternicity. Thats why we resort to scientific research tools to discover world instead of anecdotes. Or to put it simply if you dont follow scientific methods your conclusions and observations are most likely wrong.

Oher thing is that in my opinion Peter should be more careful and answer questions given instead of repeating same things over and over. Otherwise you turn out like all other politicians.

The only way it can be seen as a gateway drug is the fact that it is illegal makes people think about more illegal drugs government are stupid this country could of been way out of the recession ages ago but they just want to get money out of us the harder way and using it to employ police to stop us smoking cannabis and these people are ment to be our nation control leaders ca’mon they should give the jobs to people who really know what is going on in the standard life off Britains people

“Gateway Drug”? It is regularly reported by cocaine and heroin addicts that they have turned to smoking cannabis in order to help them get off their respective addictions. I have even heard this once or twice for alcoholics too.
So what is cannabis a gateway drug to? It seems, to a hard-drug-addiction-free life. Strange how the Daily Wail fails to mention that in their drug propaganda reports, don’t you think?
Strange to think of all those MPs being men when you consider that the last Prime Minister we had in this country that actually had any balls was Thatcher (may she meet Satan soon). No wonder we ended up with no clear winner in the election. Now we’re stuck with schoolboys running things when I wouldn’t trust them to run up a bar bill.
