Your completely right, everybody knows it. Certain people may want to ignore it and stick their heads in the sand, simply because either they know they are wrong, or they just don’t want their world view turned upside down. Cannabis is still a controversial subject for some people. The amount of passion people like me have for cannabis in terms of wanting it to Legalized, regulated and taxed, making sure patients are medicated, and kids and adults alike are educated…
The way I see it is, there’s someone out their with the same amount of passion, but they want to see the medicinal cannabis patents in jail, they want to promote that cannabis brings on psychosis and they want to spread lies and propaganda with no scientific evidence. Their passion is misguided and based on lies and misinformation, our passion is based on truth, scientific results and freedom. Iv personally always believed that the risk in terms of jail time and criminal records when smoking cannabis, is be more detrimental to ones mental health than the Skunk itself. Yes im sure anything abused is bad and wrong for you, but you don’t see em prohibiting alcohol, cigarettes, video games and fatty foods.

The link between cannabis and psychosis has never been proven. They have never been able to figure out weather it increases your chances of psychotic episodes or weather a person susceptible to psychosis is more likely to try cannabis. Also the percentage of people with mental illness that can supposedly be linked to cannabis is about 1% of people world wide but while the percentage of people using cannabis is ever increasing the percentage of people with such illnesses is not. People smoke and drink and dope themselves up on prescription medicines with more side effects than any illegal drugs and then try to tell me I’m the one on drugs. Cannabis is as much a drug as nutmeg or sugar cane. Sativex I would call a drug because its man made in a lab somewhere and only available so that a drug company can make money from an otherwise unpatentable plant. It makes me sick that any 16 year old CHILD can walk into a chemist and buy aspirin or ibuprofen effectively giving their kidneys and liver a right ol’ kickin’ where as for instance a wheelchair bound patient which MS finds 1 drug that improves their lives and they are then told if they use this drug yes it will improve their life, no there arent an detrimental side effects but no you cant have it because the big boss upstairs said so. And we are supposed to live in a democracy? People have used cannabis for thousands of years and will most likely continue to do so despite what a government that nobody trusts says or does.

tbh yea its is stupid how the war on drugs is all cannabis related, but if cannabis was legal what would the actualy police do? solve real crime for a change…..

yea that chat on what the non-psychoactive cannabinoids, is getting more & more anti-???? everyday the more they test it, but yet they still call it the most destructive drugs bar herion & crack cocaine.

to be fair, atleast there is some sort of cannabis product on the market even if its a distilled (more than likey with alot of added chems) least some people can get help without it being “illegal”

Just heard, but unsubstantiated: Clinical Cannabis is now offered routinely to all cancer patients in all hospitals in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Whether this is the GWP Sativex liquid skunk, or the real thing I know not. I’d love to see Peter Hitchens’ face when he is told this.

i dont think alot of doctors know or would perscribe Sativex cause of the outragours price & the lack of knownlodgle with doctors/GP’s now

is it even being taught in UNI yet?

In my opinion its almost scary .. the amount of conditions cannabis can cure or help with is staggering, yet my doctor wasn’t even aware of Sativex, or that there is legal cannabis in the UK. When I told her I use cannabis to help with my insomnia and anxiety, she wanted to send me to rehab or something lol. Gave me a funny look when i said i haven’t got a drug addiction.
She told me not to drink alcohol with the pills she prescribed me, then gave me a weirder look when I said, Ever since cannabis iv stopped drinking.

to be honest id love to see that, a radio presenter saying cannabis is wrong to a medical user & denie them they only SAFE medication, even most doctors now adays would prefer u to smoke cannabis for alot of problem rather than taking them organ destorying pills they give you, cause they know its better for you, but they cant give you it legaly wich in my book is wrong
