Nuff Said Of ISMOKE

Hello, I would like to introduce myself - I am Nuff Said, Founder of ISMOKE HERB and ISMOKE Magazine. I've been with CLEAR from the very beginning, and am a full-fledged supporter of the cannabis campaign. I would just like to say without going into detail how much it angers me that a vast amount of people in the UK are ignorant enough to ignore the benefits that this wonderful plant has to offer, especially...

Dr Lester Grinspoon Comments on ‘Cannabis Withdrawal Lithium Study’

In recent weeks, there has been an influx of support for reform. From Release's letter to the Prime Minister and the Guardian, to the Global Commission on Drug Policy that made strides in presenting a case for a reformation of world drug policy; special emphasis was giving to cannabis.Furthermore, Ron Paul, U.S Republican Congressman, has introduced a bill to legislate, and draft a federal law on marijuana; emphasis being to decriminalise all persons in the U.S. Once more, this meets...

An Appeal To Andrew Lansley Part 3

See here for the first and second parts of "An Appeal To Andrew Lansley". Dear Mr Lansley, I wrote to you on 13th April 2011 about the important issue of medicinal cannabis. The way my letter has been dealt with by your office is very disappointing. The first reply from Eldon Gallagher just ignored everything I said in my letter and rolled out a number of standardised and irrelevant points about Sativex. When I...

Baroness Browning On Cannabis Part 2

We’re Not Asking For A Change In The Law

I'm writing to Baroness Browning tonight asking her to take action for people who need cannabis as medicine. It's very simple. All she has to do is authorise the Home Office drugs licensing department to issue a licence for the importation of medicinal cannabis when the application is supported by a doctor's prescription and the supplier is an authorised producer. There's no need for a change in the law. If the noble Baroness would don her...

The Dutch Weedpass: Failure before introduction

THE new Dutch government wants to introduce a Weedpass for coffeeshops, for Dutch citizens only, in order to exclude foreigners from buying cannabis. The reason for this project is to stop the cannabis tourism to the Dutch cities in the border areas near Belgium and Germany. Justice Minister Opstelten wants to quickly introduce the Weedpass first in the border cities, with the rest of the country following suit, introducing the Weedpass 'nationwide'. ...

BBC – “Drugs policy in England ‘doomed to failure'”

The story is here and has been vigorously promoted all day long by the BBC, far in excess of the attention it gave to the Global Commission report. It is a deception. This "study" is thinly disguised government propaganda. It perfectly supports the thrust of the Home Office's disastrous 2010 drug strategy. It is a prohibitionist's wet dream. Kathy Gyngell, the woman behind it has no serious credentials at all. She is from the...
