17 Dec CLEAR Leadership Election. Call For Nominations

CLEAR Cannabis Law Reform calls for nominations for candidates to stand for election as party leader.

Peter Reynolds, the current leader, was elected in February 2011 and his term of office will cease on 28th February 2014.

The election will be run by returning officer Roland Gyallay-Pap under the following rules and such further conditions as he may specify.

1. Anyone being a member of CLEAR on 17th December 2013 and remaining so continuously until declaration of the election result may stand for election as leader.

2. Candidates must be nominated by one member and seconded by two further members. Nominating and seconding members must be a member of CLEAR on 17th December 2013 and remain so continuously until declaration of the election result.

3. Nominations must be notified to the returning officer by email to [email protected] and formally confirmed by him by 31st December 2013.

4. Anyone being a member of CLEAR on 17th December 2013 and remaining so continuously until declaration of the election result may vote in the election.

5. The election will be held over a one week period to be announced by the returning officer before 31st January 2014 and to be completed by 15th February 2014.
